  • Conventional testing typically looks for disease markers and uses broad population ranges to determine "normal." Our functional testing looks at optimal ranges, nutrient status, hormone metabolites, inflammatory markers, and other indicators that can reveal imbalances long before they become diagnosable conditions.

  • Most functional lab testing is not covered by insurance as it's considered preventative and not diagnostic. However, many clients find my prices to be lower than their insurance cost, and the investment in understanding your health often saves money in the long run by addressing issues before they become more serious.

  • No doctor referral is needed for our testing. However, we always recommend maintaining a relationship with your primary care physician. Our testing complements conventional medical care but doesn't replace it.

  • Most test results are available within 2-3 weeks after your samples reach the lab. You'll receive notification when your results are ready, along with a basic explanation of key findings.

  • While your test includes a basic explanation, many clients benefit from an in-depth functional health review to fully understand their results and develop a personalized action plan. This service is available as an additional option after receiving your results.
